We are not a blood bank. We connect people who need blood with people who can give it.

Getting started

Students and young donors — the campus guide

18 and healthy? Campuses are where Assam's donor culture is built. What first-time young donors should know.

You can donate from your 18th birthday. For most students that’s the only gate: 18–65, 50 kg+, Hb 12.5+, healthy on the day.

Why campuses matter: NSS and college camps are where most of Assam’s voluntary donations happen. A student who donates at 19 typically donates for 40 years — that’s 80+ units from one person’s lifetime.

If you’re a first-timer: read the first-time guide — ten minutes on a couch, three patients helped.

Under 18? You can still help: volunteer at camps, share requests, and register the day you turn 18.

Colleges and NSS units can list their camps free — contact us.
