Why I donate
Most blood in Assam still comes from replacement donors — the patient's own family. When a family can't produce a donor, they search alone. I'd rather be on a list that answers before anyone has to search. Regular, voluntary, at licensed centres only — that's the whole idea, and I try to live it before asking anyone else to.
Why I built this
Because searching alone shouldn't be the system. Assam Blood Donor is a verified register of people who said "call me" and reconfirm they're still ready. No public donor lists, no paid donors, no blood bought or sold. Requests are verified by phone, donors keep their numbers private, and donations happen only at licensed centres.
My work
By day I'm a backend engineer — Node.js, APIs, automation — building for clients in the US, UK, Australia and Dubai through madhurjya.com.
