Donor consent policy

What you consent to (scope)

1. Emergency contact: when a verified, coordinator-confirmed request near you needs your compatible blood group, we may contact you by phone/WhatsApp/email with an accept/decline message. Frequency cap: at most 2 contact attempts per 24 hours, and we aim for once or twice a year per donor.
2. Data processing: storing the minimum fields needed to match you safely (group, district, donation interval), see the privacy policy.
3. Optional communications: camp invitations and a rare network newsletter, only if you enable them (off by default).

What you do NOT consent to

• Your number being published, shared with requesters, or used for any marketing.
• Obligation to donate. Declining a request has zero consequences and is not recorded against you.
• Any third-party sale of your data, this will never happen.

Freshness consent

To protect patients from stale lists, donors silent for 75 days are asked to reconfirm with one tap; silent 45 more days and they're paused automatically (reversible in one tap). This keeps the network honest for the people who depend on it.

Withdrawing

Any time, from your profile or by phone: withdrawal is instant (you stop being contacted immediately) and your record is anonymized within 72 hours. Versions you consented to are kept in your history for accountability.
