How it works

Two short paths. Both are free.

If you need blood

No sign-up. Start from a phone at the hospital gate.

  1. Post the requestBlood group, units, hospital, and by when. Two minutes on a phone.
  2. We alert the nearest matchesDonors of that group in that district get one message. If nobody accepts in 20 minutes, we widen the circle.
  3. You get the donor's numberOnly after they accept. You speak directly and go to the licensed blood centre together.
  4. Track it until it's closedA live link shows how many units are arranged and who is on the way.

Be clear about this

We are not a blood bank.

Blood is collected, tested, stored and issued only by licensed blood centres. What we run is the address book in between, the part that usually goes missing at 2 AM.

  • We never hold bloodNo storage, no collection, no cold chain. We do not issue units to anyone.
  • Nobody pays, nobody is paidNot the patient, not the donor, not us. Paid donation is illegal in India and we report anyone who tries.
  • Your number is not a list we sellIt is shared with one patient's family, once, only after you accept. Leave the register whenever you like.
  • What we do runA verified donor register, a matching service that actually calls people, and a public record of every request we handled.

Where we reach

All 35 districts, in both languages.

Coverage is thin in some places and we say so plainly on each district page, donor count, nearest licensed centre, and how long the last match took.

Before you register

Can you give blood?

Four quick questions. Nothing is stored and nothing is sent, this only tells you whether it is worth registering today.

  • Are you between 18 and 65 years old?

  • Do you weigh 50 kg or more?

  • Has it been at least 90 days since you last donated?

  • Have you been free of fever, infection and antibiotics this past week?

Questions

Blood donation in Assam, asked and answered

How do I find a blood donor in Assam?

Post a request with your hospital requisition slip. A coordinator verifies it by phone, then we alert matching voluntary donors near the hospital, widening the circle every 20 minutes until someone accepts. Track everything with your request code.

Is this a blood bank?

No. We never hold, test or issue blood. We run the verified donor register and the matching service in between, collection happens only at licensed centres like GMCH Guwahati, AMCH Dibrugarh and SMCH Silchar.

How do I register as a blood donor in Guwahati or my district?

One form: name, mobile number, OTP, group, district, two minutes, no passwords. You are only contacted when a compatible patient near you needs blood, at most twice a year on average.

How often can I donate blood?

Men every 3 months, women every 4 months (NBTC national standards). The register pauses you automatically after a donation and brings you back the day you are eligible.

Is my phone number safe?

Yes. Numbers are encrypted, never published, never sold, and shared with one patient family once, only after you accept a request. Export or delete everything with one tap.

One form today. A stranger's whole family, some other night.

Registering takes two minutes and costs nothing. You will not hear from us until someone near you needs exactly what you have.
