How do I register as a blood donor in Assam?
One form at /donors/register, name, mobile + OTP, blood group, district. Two minutes, no passwords, free.
How often will I be contacted?
Only when a compatible, verified request appears near you, most donors hear from us once or twice a year. Frequency is capped at 2 notifications per 24 hours.
Can I say no to a request?
Always, with one tap, no reason needed. Declining is never recorded against you.
What if I move districts or change my number?
Update from your profile; a new number gets re-verified by OTP.
Recipients & emergencies
How do I request blood?
The form at /request-blood with your hospital requisition slip. A coordinator calls to verify, then matching donors are alerted. Track with your ABD code.
Is this a blood bank?
No. We never hold, test or issue blood. Donation happens only at licensed centres, we mobilise verified donors toward them.
What does it cost?
Nothing, ever, for requesters and donors both. Paying for blood is illegal in India.
Privacy
Is my phone number public?
No. It's encrypted at rest, never published, and shared with one patient family once, only after you accept their request.
How do I delete my account?
One tap in your profile: immediate and permanent. Withdrawal of consent anonymizes you within 72 hours.
Blood centres & camps
Why do you list only five centres?
We publish only what we've independently verified, with source and date. Copied lists go stale and stale is dangerous, for everything else we route you to live Google results.
How do I organise a camp?
Partner with your district's licensed centre; our organiser guide walks through it, and listing on our camps page is free.
