Floods cut roads, donors can’t reach centres and units can’t move between districts 3. Camps stop, colleges and grounds flood, so collection drops just as need rises The result is the annual monsoon squeeze: banks that were fine in May run dry by August, and families start searching donor by donor. What actually helps:
- Registering before the season, so a ping in July reaches people who said yes in March
- Donating in June, you enter the season with your interval already cleared
- District-level donors, someone within reach of a cut-off district’s centre is worth more than ten across the river Monsoon is coming every year. Two minutes now beats a panicked search in August.
